Daniel McNamara first became interested in large scale urban planning while working for The Architect’s Collaborative (TAC), originally founded by Walter Gropius in Cambridge, Massachusetts. While in the US, he worked on preliminary plans and frameworks for multi-sector participation in Master Planning for large scale projects including a concept for a "Superpark" along Boston’s Route 128 High Tech corridor.
Since then he has been involved in numerous projects for local and state governments and the private sector, taking responsibility for the delivery of institutional and housing projects, policy analysis and formulation, program development and administration, and software applications development and implementation.
